Job summary

Security Financial Bank in Black River Falls is seeking a Full-Time Teller to join our Main Street branch. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries with a friendly smile and attention to detail.

This role features a daytime schedule, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday mornings and a shift differential. We value relationship banking, ongoing training, and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service and cash-handling experience.
• Knowledge of bank products, services, and federal regulations is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and routine transactions.
• Verify checks, endorsements, and proper identification.
• Balance cash drawer daily and assist with branch balancing tasks.
• Answer customer inquiries in person and by phone, maintaining confidentiality.
• Refer customers to other SFB team members for specialized services.
• Support branch operations and ensure compliance with regulations.

Whether helping someone cash their paycheck, opening the door for a new relationship, or answering questions with a smile, you'll play an important role in creating a positive banking experience. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday with an occasional rotating Saturday morning (plus Saturday shift differential). Prolonged and frequent mental, audio, visual, and verbal concentration required in responding to customer requests, computer work and viewing monitors. Fine motor skills to operate mouse and keyboard. Periodic stressful situations in response to multiple priorities within established deadlines.
