The Washington Military Department seeks a Property and Acquisition Specialist 3 to manage WAARNG real property records, acquisitions, and related licenses at Camp Murray, WA. Qualifications

• One year experience as a Property and Acquisition Specialist 2 or five years in related property acquisition roles.
• Knowledge of real property acquisition, management, and disposal.
• Detailed understanding of Federal, State, and local regulations pertaining to real property acquisition and disposal.
• Experience with WA state contract rules and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for real property acquisition, disposal, and management.
• Completes property searches for obtainable land.
• Generates and submits REAP reports.
• Negotiates with Federal military entities.
• Prepares legal descriptions and documents.
• Determines property rights for storefront leases.
