Job summary

The Virginia Department of Agriculture seeks an experienced Director of Procurement and Support Services for the Office of Administrative and Financial Services. You will plan, direct and manage the agency’s procurement and support services functions, ensuring compliance with state laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include managing complex procurements, guiding procurement methods, overseeing contract development, and serving as the agency’s eVA and SPCC Administrator.

Qualifications

• Public procurement laws, regulations and procedures knowledge.
• Experience overseeing procurement and support services with budget focus.
• Knowledge of VITA policies, contracts and IT procurement.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities; write policies and train staff.

Responsibilities
