APT operates 9 fiber-connected transmitter sites and 18 microwave sites with over 2200 miles of digital bidirectional microwave paths.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing broadcast transmission equipment, ensuring reliable signal delivery across APT’s statewide network. They will work both independently and collaboratively to support technical operations, respond to emergencies, and contribute to the overall mission of public broadcasting in Alabama.
