Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a PRN Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry. The ideal physician will help develop and lead an interdisciplinary team in evaluating and treating hospitalized and emergency room patients with complex medical and psychiatric illnesses.

This 100% virtual position requires 2–5 shifts per month, with training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine–Psychiatry strongly desired.

Qualifications

• Must be Board-Certified Psychiatrist and licensed to practice in Texas.
• PRN engagement requiring 2–5 shifts per month.
• Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, Emergency Psychiatry, or Internal Medicine-Psychiatry is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote psychiatry coverage as part of the virtual program.
