Job summary

Harmony United Psychiatric Care in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist for our outpatient clinic as an independent contractor. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, provide medication management, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

This role offers a flexible schedule with in-person and telehealth options, the possibility of full remote work with a collaborating physician, and compensation up to $300 per hour plus potential additional earnings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Active Florida medical license or in process.
• Final year of residency eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide medication management and brief psychotherapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families.
• Document services per company policies.
• Stay current with advances in psychiatry through continuing education.
