Qualifications

Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

Enter and process prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
Prepare and label medications for dispensing per telepharmacy protocols.
Support verification processes by coordinating with supervising pharmacists.
Manage prescription adjudication, including insurance billing and claim resolution.
Maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA compliance.
Assist in inventory management: ordering, receiving, stocking meds.
Communicate with patients via phone or digital platforms for support.
Identify and elevate medication-related concerns to the pharmacist.
Ensure compliance with telepharmacy procedures and Texas pharmacy laws.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
