Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a Telemetry/Ortho/Trauma unit assignment in Pennsylvania. The role requires strong telemetry, trauma level 1 experience, and travel nursing background. You will float to multiple units and must hold a PA license or compact license for submission.

The shift is variable with shifts 12 hours, 4 per week, and a 13-week contract starting 2026-09-28. Pre-employment modules may be required and references are requested.

Qualifications

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 18 months total within last 36 months.
• 12 months travel experience is required.
• 12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility experience within last 36 months.
• Floating to multiple units is required.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple units as needed.
• Care for adolescent and adult patients on Telemetry/Ortho/Trauma units.
• Manage cardiac drips and ortho/trauma cases as applicable.
• Adhere to licensing requirements and pre-employment modules as needed.

Experience

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: AMN Program - Allegheny Health Network (AHN) and no current placement allowed at Program: AMN Program - Allegheny Health Network (AHN).

Additional Details

• Required Skills/Experience: Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
• Unit Details:Telemetry/Ortho/Trauma unit caring for adolescent and adult patients. Manages cardiac drips and ortho/trauma cases including joints, wounds, chest tubes, halo, traction, pin care, and neurosurgical patients.
• 6 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
• 2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
