Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Telemetry (Tele) Travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. The RN will provide telemetry care across a hospital setting, with potential float to other units.

Start date 10/11/2026 for a 13-week contract, with 12-hour night shifts (3x12 Nights). The role includes credentialing within 72 hours of offer, orientation in the first week, and a weekly pay range of $2,058–$2,116.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas (KS RN).
• BLS certification required.
• Education: ADN; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Telemetry nursing in a hospital setting.
• Credentialing documents to be completed within 72 hours of offer; site orientation in first week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients and monitor cardiac rhythms.
• Assess, document, and respond to patient conditions; interpret telemetry alarms.
• Administer prescribed medications and IV therapies; manage infusion equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EHR and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians and units to coordinate patient care and safety.
• Support unit operations, infection control, and handoffs; participate in care planning.
• Float to approved units as required and maintain competency across related tasks.
