Job summary

Trusted Health seeks an experienced RN for a travel nursing assignment in Louisiana. The role features a 12-hour day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with a 3/2 schedule, floating to Med-Surg or Tele units as needed, and no recruiter calls.

Requirements include 2 years of Med Tele in acute care, Louisiana license or compact, and ACLS/NIHSS/BLS certifications. COVID and flu vaccines are required, with RTO rules and local travel options described in the posting.

Qualifications

2 years Med Tele experience in an acute care setting.
First-time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff experience in acute care.
Post-surgical recovery, PIV skills, central line care, TR bands, and non-titrating cardiac drip skills with dobutamine, Cardizem, and heparin are required.
ACLS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications are required.
Travelers must be separated for 1 year if previously a perm staff member.

Responsibilities

Provide telemetry nursing care in an acute care environment.
Float to Med-Surg or Tele units as needed.
Work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a 3/2 blue schedule with weekend rotation.
Adhere to unit protocols, monitor patients on telemetry, and collaborate with hospital staff.
