Qualifications

• High school diploma required; EKG class completed; familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with ECG monitoring and basic patient data collection is preferred.
• Ability to understand physician orders and monitor data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment per physician orders.
• Troubleshoot and ensure proper function of monitoring devices.
• Collect, transmit, and document patient data for RN review.
• Maintain updated patient monitors and coordinate alarm parameters.
• Acknowledge alarms and route calls and messages to RN staff.
• Perform phlebotomy duties as assigned.
