• Completion of a cardiovascular technology program or equivalent military program.
• Certification by NHA as a Certified EKG Technician (CET).
• Certification by AECA as CCMTT.
• Certification by ABCM in Basic Cardiac Monitoring (ECG).
• Certification by NTA as Cardiac Arrhythmia or ECG Technician.
• Minimum of 1 year full-time telemetry experience in last 3 years.
• BLS certification current.

Position Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Completion of a cardiovascular technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Professionals or completion of a formal military program that trains telemetry technicians
• Certification by the National Health career Association (NHA) as a Certified EKG technician.
• Certification by the American Education Certification Association (AECA) as a Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT).
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine (ABCM) in Basic Cardiac Monitoring (ECG).
• Certification by the National Telemetry Association (NTA) as a Cardiac Arrhythmia Technician or an Electrocardiogram Technician
• Possess a minimum of one year full-time working experience in the medical field providing telemetry services within the past three years.
• BLS
