Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor cardiac rhythms and document findings on the telemetry monitor, reporting any arrhythmia or rhythm changes promptly.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology, be able to interpret rhythm strips, and ideally hold EKG certification or be willing to complete BLS; at least one year of hospital experience and two years of EKG interpretation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, including basic anatomy and physiology of the heart and conduction system.
• Ability to accurately interpret rhythm strips and recognize EKG changes.
• Excellent computer skills.
