Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Brick Township location. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based nursing care, communicating with the care team, and ensuring safe medication administration with advanced bar-scanning and documentation tools.

The position requires NJ licensure, BLS/CPR, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with BSN in progress encouraged. Telemetry certification is preferred and a strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have at least one year of nursing experience.
• Telemetry Certification preferred.
• Strong teamwork and patient-focused care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies and standards of care to provide safe and excellent patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team regarding patient status and plan of care.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies for safe delivery.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, plan-of-care and interventions.
• Patient and family-centered education to optimize health and disease management.
• Multi-disciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transition and continuum of care.
