Job summary

TriHealth's Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking an RN for the 11ABCD Telemetry Stepdown Unit. The role involves direct patient care in an intermediate cardiac setting, with monitoring and support for patients with chest pain, MI recovery, CHF, and arrhythmias.

Expect a 36-hour work week, day shifts (6:30am-7:00pm), and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Candidates with an ADN/ Diploma and a BSN within 5 years are encouraged to apply to join a supportive, growth‑oriented team.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family.
• Plans care for patient and family based on assessment, standards of care, and outcomes.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and upholds patient rights and diversity.
• Evaluates the plan of care and updates as needed with healthcare team.
• Performs technical skills, safely administers medications/treatments, monitors effects.
• Demonstrates organizational responsibilities and supports continuous learning.
