Job summary

Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry to join our Patient Care Services team. The RN will manage and provide nursing care for a group of patients and their families, using independent judgment and collaboration with the care team.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from a nursing program and Michigan RN licensure; BSN preferred and AHA BLS. This is a staff, full-time position with a sign-on bonus up to $25,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in Michigan required.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making.
