Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide total comprehensive nursing to patients and families by implementing a comprehensive plan of care aligned with patient needs and physician orders. The role supports PFCC and nursing standards throughout patient care across units.

The position requires active RN licensure, a Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), and 2 years of nursing experience or equivalent education-based qualifications.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse is required.
• Diploma in Nursing required, or an Associate Degree in Nursing required, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years nursing experience required, or no experience required with preferred education.

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive nursing to patients and families through implementation of a plan of care.
• Support PFCC model and adhere to ANA scope and standards of nursing practice.
