Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry RN to join our night shift team in Alabama. The Tele RN collaborates with the care team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans using telemetry data from heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, SpO2 and ECG displays.

You will prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications, assist physicians during examinations, identify irregular telemetry readings and monitor equipment to ensure accurate patient monitoring across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Tele RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report an adverse reaction to medications in accordance with policies
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patient
• Identify irregular telemetry readings and notify the appropriate medical team member
• Monitor specialized equipment used on patients and interpret electronic displays
• Shift: 3 x 12 Nights
