Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Spring Hill, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry to deliver comprehensive nursing care in a telemetry unit. The RN will assess patients, monitor telemetry data, coordinate with the care team, and implement individualized plans of care under supervision.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an active Florida RN license, BLS, and ideally ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required to practice as RN in Florida.
• Florida or compact-state RN license required.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred for telemetry care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in telemetry unit.
• Plan, implement and document patient care per policy and procedure.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team through shift reports and rounds.
• Transcribe physician orders and implement plan of care.
• Educate patients and families and evaluate outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety and rights throughout admission and treatment.
