Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN for the Med/Surg Tele unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team. You will advocate for patients and families while upholding nursing models and organizational values to ensure outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities include admission assessments, medication administration, prompt response to requests, and education of patients and families on condition, plan, and follow-up. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license (Registered Nurse).
• Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and every shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up, translating medical terminology as needed.
