Job summary

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• BSN degree preferred with acute care experience appreciated.
• CPR or BLS certification required; ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale are required by different AH policies.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or group per standards.
• Supervises and directs nursing staff across levels and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates duties and coordinates activities of the healthcare team.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
