Job summary

St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks a Registered Nurse Telemetry to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams, documenting thoroughly and advocating for patients, families, and caregivers in line with best practices.

You will assess, treat, educate, and manage care using nursing models, ensuring exceptional outcomes and adherence to standards of practice within the Texas healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or eligible to obtain.
• ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• BLS/CPR to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's condition at admission and each shift; report changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record; monitor responses.
• Administer prescribed meds; observe effects and act on unintended responses.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds, side effects and follow-up.
