Job summary

ALLIANCE STAFFING SOLUTIONS LLC in Toledo, OH seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide high-quality care for acute patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The ideal candidate has telemetry and acute-care experience, strong assessment and documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with physicians; shifts are day or night with competitive hourly pay.

This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to expand telemetry and cardiac-care expertise.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state or Compact license.
• At least 1 year of acute-care RN experience within the last 5 years; telemetry experience required.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred/required depending on facility requirements.
• Experience with an EHR/EMR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute-care Telemetry setting.
• Continuously monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition and promptly report findings.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient response to medications and treatments.
• Communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, nursing assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
