Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status; gathers information from the interdisciplinary team.
• Collaboratively develops an individualized plan of care with patient, family, and team involvement; coordinates education and follow-up.
• Directs the care team through delegation and coordination to implement the plan of care.
• Evaluates patient response to interventions and revises the plan of care as needed; documents accurately and timely.
