Job summary

Bayonne University Hospital in Bayonne, NJ seeks an RN Telemetry 2R for a half-time day shift. You will provide specialized nursing care to adult geriatric patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, and apply physician-ordered therapies in a high-acuity telemetry setting.

Candidates must have an Associate Degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, and BLS certification; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 0-1 year entry is required, 2-4 years preferred; salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Valid NJ RN License is required.
• BLS - AHA certification is required.
• 0-1 relevant work experience is required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and deliver nursing care to adult geriatric patients using the nursing process.
• Interpret cardiac arrhythmias and administer therapy as ordered by the physician.
• Care for patients requiring observation post cardiac monitoring and potential arrhythmia treatment.
• Utilize equipment specific to Critical Care Services.
