Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients and families.

The RN will administer medications, monitor patient status, educate patients, and participate in life-saving interventions such as CPR.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• Registered Nurse license in good standing (state licensure and/or compact licensure).
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following the nursing process.
• Document assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe patient environment.
• Utilize telemetry to monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
