Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a hospital setting.

The role requires coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, documenting care, and ensuring safety and quality outcomes. The RN will assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, direct the care team, and evaluate progress while upholding professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start date.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN required or preferred per latest update.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status; gather information from interdisciplinary team.
• Collaboratively develop and update individualized plan of care with patient, family and team.
• Direct and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team; manage time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient response, revise plan of care as needed, and document outcomes.
• Promote professionalism, adhere to legal/ethical standards, and ensure accurate documentation.
