Job summary

Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Telemetry for a part-time nursing role on the 4 west cardiac telemetry unit. The RN will manage patient care, collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams, and support discharge planning while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program, licensed in Michigan, with BLS and ACLS training or certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program.
• BSN is preferred.
• Licensure to practice as an RN in Michigan is required (active).
• AHA BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making.
