Health Here in Springfield, IL is seeking a Travel Telemetry RN to join our cardiac care team. You will monitor and interpret telemetry, administer medications, assist with procedures, document patient conditions, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

This role requires at least one year of telemetry experience, a valid RN license with BLS and ACLS, and strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Qualifications

Job description

Role: Travel Telemetry RN

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cardiac patient care in a telemetry unit, including monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, administering medications, assisting with procedures, documenting patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Respond to emergencies, educate patients on cardiac health, and maintain safety and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Skills: Require at least one year of recent telemetry experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include PCCN and NIHSS. Must possess critical thinking, strong communication, technical proficiency, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Sensory acuity and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Duties: Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry data, administer treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, record assessments, respond to emergencies, and support patient education. Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory protocols.
