Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a telemetry unit, monitoring and interpreting patients’ cardiac rhythms


• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver patient-centered care


• Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain competency in telemetry nursing

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess cardiac rhythm patterns and vital signs using telemetry equipment


• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians


• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records


• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and report findings to the healthcare team


• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management strategies


• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards


• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on discharge planning


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in telemetry nursing
