Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for its Kansas City location. The Tele RN monitors patients in telemetry units, interpreting vital signs and ensuring timely care. Responsibilities include assessing conditions, administering medications, and providing hands-on support. Qualifications

• Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
• BCLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintained current.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions to create individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide hands-on care to patients and wound care.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions and treatments.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions.
• Deliver safe patient care utilizing nursing process.
