Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking a Patient Safety Technician to support the Central Hospital Operations team in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on continuous observation of telemetry, video monitoring, and virtual nursing workflows to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements include CNA completion, acute care experience, EMT experience preferred, and ECG/EKG certification within 6 months of hire. This is an in-person 0.6–0.75 FTE position with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
• Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant and/or Emergency Room Technician.
• Completion of one clinical rotation in an RN or LPN program within one year.
• Completion of an EMT role with at least 1 year in an EMS based agency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and video monitoring for patient safety.
• Interpret rhythm changes and escalate to bedside teams promptly.
• Document rhythm interpretations and alarm events accurately.
