Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Multi-Care Technician II to build on foundational patient care skills and support telemetry monitoring. The role reports to an RN and involves EKGs, daily living tasks, and acting as a Monitor Tech to ensure patient safety.

Ideal candidates have a nursing-related program, basic infection control knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills to communicate with families and staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Tech, Medical Assistant or EMT program is required.
• Some college coursework in an accredited nursing program with at least one semester completed.
• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program upon hire and Basic Life Support completion is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks including hygiene support and monitoring vital signs.
• Provide EKG and telemetry monitoring.
• Assist with ambulation and feeding.
• Document intake/output and abnormal findings.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and complete clerical tasks.
• Serve as a liaison with patient families and staff.
