Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Specialist for the Medical Telemetry unit. This Full Time role assists with patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and participates in telemetry duties as trained.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a multi-skilled tech program including EKG/phlebotomy, and current CPR/BLS certification. Experience in clinical settings and related certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a multi-skilled tech program covering EKG, phlebotomy and direct patient care preferred.
• ECG/Phlebotomy training with patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under RN supervision and adhere to policy.
• Assist in medical telemetry duties as trained, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
