Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join the Acute Care Adult Medical Telemetry Unit, 8 East, at MetroHealth Main Campus. You will assist with cardiac monitoring, vital signs, intake and output, and ADL support, collaborating with LPNs, RNs, and providers.

Required: High School Diploma or GED and current BLS for healthcare providers (or within 90 days of hire). Preferred: STNA in good standing and hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a team with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and patient status.
• Record intake/output and vital signs.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
