Job summary

RN.com is seeking Tele RN professionals to monitor patients’ vital signs in a hospital setting, focusing on post-ICU care and cardiac cases. Tele RN’s monitor critically ill patients who recently left the ICU, ensuring close observation after surgery or other procedures.

Applicants must hold a BSN or ADN, pass the NCLEX to obtain RN licensure, and maintain an active state license. ACLS and TELE certifications are often required, with strong clinical judgement and communication skills essential.

Telemetry RN's monitor patients’ vital signs by reading and analyzing an electrocardiogram, or another life sign-measuring device. Tele RN's are required for post-ICU care. Tele RN’s monitor critically ill patients: most are cardiac cases. Tele RN's typically work in a hospital setting. Tele RN’s care for patients who are out of the ICU, but need their vital signs monitored closely (after surgery, for example).

Education/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
• You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
• RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
• ACLS and TELE are often required
