Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a Monitor Technician to document and interpret patient cardiac rhythms at regular intervals and to identify dysrhythmias. The role includes communicating arrhythmias to the registered nurse and activating emergency notification systems as needed, while maintaining a safe and orderly environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and basic reading, writing, and math abilities.

• Communicates with registered nurse all arrhythmias and activates emergency notification system with any life‑to‑breathing rhythms.
• Provides a safe, clean and orderly environment; contributing to efficient departmental operations in order to control cost and ensure productivity.
