You will identify arrhythmias, notify licensed staff of rhythm changes, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure proper lead placement and configuration during admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a telemetry or EKG interpretation course during orientation period required.
• 0–2 years of clerical and/or clinical experience in a medical setting required.
• BCLS certification or equivalent basic life support training preferred.

• Continuously observes and records rhythm strips at established intervals.
• Identifies rhythm changes and promptly Notifies the nurse or licensed personnel.
• Maintains effective communication with peers, staff, physicians, and leaders.
• Troubleshoots telemetry equipment and escalates issues as directed.
• Ensures proper lead placement and configuration for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintains attendance and complies with policies.
