AdventHealth in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Monitor Technician to support telemetry monitoring and patient safety. You will observe patient monitors, document findings, and promptly notify nursing staff of abnormalities to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and patient safety procedures.
• Ability to document clearly and maintain logs as required by policy.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to departmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Observes monitors, recognizes normal/abnormal ECG patterns, notifies nursing staff of abnormalities.
• Maintains telemetry logbook and ensures alarms are set and audible per policy.
• Troubleshoots monitors and supports quick response to cardiac events.
• Maintains clean and organized work area and sanitizes equipment.
• Participates in ongoing education to stay current with best practices.
