Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Certification in cardiac arrhythmia recognition required.
• Telemetry experience in an acute care facility preferred.
• CPI certification within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Document rhythm analysis and post strips within 60 minutes.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and report changes to the RN.
• Monitor patient behavior across physical, developmental, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and sociocultural needs.
• Handle secretarial/clerical duties and unit supply orders under RN supervision.
