Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado seeks an experienced Telemetry Monitor Technician to support patient care on the day shift. You will observe ECG patterns, document findings, and communicate changes to the nursing team while maintaining alarms and telemetry printouts.

Candidates should have monitor tech experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training, be proficient in English, and able to manage multiple duties with accurate typing and strong communication. BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Monitor tech experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training or equivalent.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Accurate typing skills and neat handwriting.
• Ability to manage multiple duties and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Observe monitors and document normal/abnormal ECG patterns and notify nursing staff of abnormalities.
• Maintain monitor alarms per policy and ensure alarms are audible each shift.
• Support performance improvement activities and maintain documentation.
• Keep telemetry printouts during cardiac events and as indicated.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment and sanitation of equipment.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay current with procedures.
