Job summary

Ignite Now is seeking a driven Telemetry Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support high-stakes aerospace programs. You will work on pre-mission trajectory validation, performance analysis, and on-site support during flight events for missile defense initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languages.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support MDA Targets and Countermeasures program office with development of ballistic missile target vehicles.
• Support TC System Engineering in target design, analysis, and test activities.
• Utilize knowledge of missile characteristics and engineering to support data product development.
• Technical focus areas include vehicle telemetry and mission analysis.
• Configure and operate telemetry data acquisition equipment during test events.
• Generate target vehicle visualizations, situational awareness displays, and reports/briefings.
• Support mission planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with a team of experts to develop analysis tools.
