Job summary

KODA Technologies Inc. is seeking a Telemetry Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support MDA targets and countermeasures activities. You will work on pre-mission validation, data analysis, and on-site flight event support, applying telemetry expertise across modeling, testing, and reporting.

The role requires hands-on telemetry configuration, data decommutation, visualization, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver mission-ready data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languages
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures (TC) program office with development of ballistic missile target vehicles
• Support the TC System Engineering team in all aspects of target design, analysis, and test, to include development and assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis and reporting
• Utilize knowledge, skills, and experience with missile characteristics (physical, kinematics, signatures) and engineering to support engineering activities and data product development
• Technical focus areas include vehicle telemetry and mission analysis
• Configure and operate telemetry data acquisition equipment during test events
• Perform vehicle telemetry data decommutation, reduction, conversions, etc.
• Generate target vehicle visualizations, situational awareness displays, and reports/briefings
• Support mission planning, analysis, and reporting activities
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of experts in multiple technical areas to develop analysis and engineering tools
• Utilize knowledge, skills, and experience with missile characteristics (physical, kinematics, signatures) and engineering to support engineering activities and data product development
