Job summary

Curative is seeking a Telemedicine Baseline Visit Physician (MD/DO) to deliver evidence-based, preventative care to Curative Health Plan members and to supervise APPs in a fast-growing, mission-driven team.

Requirements include MD/DO, board certification in Internal/Family/Preventive Medicine, active licenses in GA and TX (plus other states), at least 3 years of primary care and 1 year telemedicine experience.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification in IM/FM/Preventive Medicine.
• Active GA and TX licenses with multi-state eligibility.
• ≥3 years of primary care experience post residency and ≥1 year telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Perform Baseline Visits with health plan members.
• Supervise and collaborate with APPs.

Our Telemedicine Baseline Visit Physicians (MD/DO) provide evidence-based, compassionate medical advice to members of the Curative Health Plan through annual telemedicine-based Baseline Visits. These visits focus on preventative care and are a key touchpoint in allowing members to use their $0 deductible, $0 co-pay plan to the most benefit. This role also involves collaboration with our team of non-prescriptive Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform Curative’s Baseline Visits with health plan members
• Supervise and collaborate with APPs
• Contribute to the development of a pleasant, constructive workplace
• Secure and maintain multi-state medical licenses as requested

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (MD/DO)
• Board-Certified Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Preventive Medicine
• At least 3 years of primary care experience post residency
• At least 1 year telemedicine experience
• Active and unencumbered medical license in both Texas and Georgia in addition to at least 4 of the following states: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Louisiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, New Jersey, California, North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee or Florida.
• Participate in a rotating coverage schedule as an alternate collaborating physician for assigned Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Permanent residency in the state of Georgia
• Willing and able to meet in person once annually with collaborating APPs based on Georgia Composite Medical Board requirements
• Superior interpersonal communication skills and a servant-leader mindset

Preferred

• Virtual primary care experience
• Experience collaborating with Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners
• Spanish fluency
• Startup or high-growth healthcare experience

SCHEDULE

• Early (8 am - 4:30 pm CST) and late (11:30 am - 8 pm CST) shifts available
