Job summary

My Virtual Physician is seeking a Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality virtual care to diverse patients. You will perform remote consultations, order tests, prescribe medications, and document encounters using the Athena EMR system.

This role reports to the Medical Director and offers flexible scheduling in a remote environment with a mission-driven team and access to complimentary virtual visits for your own healthcare needs.

Qualifications

• Active NP license required.
• Telemedicine experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Athena EMR and secure patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient visits for acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Document all encounters in Athena EMR accurately.
• Educate patients on health management and preventive care.
• Respond to patient inquiries via secure virtual platforms.
• Maintain accuracy and thoroughness in all documentation.

About the Role:As a Telemedicine Nurse Practitioner, you’ll deliver high-quality virtual care to diverse patients. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong written communication skills, and the ability to provide excellent care and documentation using the Athena EMR system.
This position reports directly to the Medical Director (currently Dr. Howard).
