Job summary

UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks a Board-Eligible/Board-C Certified Infectious Disease physician to join a hospital-based consultative practice. The role features telemedicine ID consultations, collaboration with a two-physician team and an APP, and a focus on antimicrobial stewardship within a strong, patient-centered program.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion.
• Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemedicine Infectious Disease consults across UPMC Northern Pod hospitals.
• Work within a fully integrated Epic EMR for documentation and continuity of care.
• Join an established team of two full-time ID physicians and an Advanced Practice Provider.
• Play a key role in an Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and collaborate with hospital leadership.

Education

MD/DO from an accredited medical school

Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion

Accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship Program completion

American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease

Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and credentials
