Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Telemedicine Diagnostic Radiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in Detroit, Michigan. The role is remote, night-time coverage from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. ET, with a requirement of at least seven shifts per month.

The candidate will read emergency department radiology cases via Cerner, perform interpretations, and support a demanding telehealth environment. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology and BLS are required, along with a Michigan license.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Michigan license is required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic radiology interpretation for emergency department cases via telemedicine.
• Handle 80–130 mixed cases per 8-hour shift.
• Remote night coverage: schedule 11 p.m.–7 a.m. ET with at least 7 shifts per month.

• Schedule: 11 p.m.–7 a.m. Eastern Time, remote; at least 7 shifts per month
• Practice Setting: Telehealth
• Types of Cases: Diagnostic radiology, primarily emergency department cases; 80–130 mixed cases per 8-hour shift
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
• Certifications Required: Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology; Basic Life Support
• Licensure Required: Michigan license only
