Overview

NuView Health is seeking a board-certified Cardiologist to join our Tele-Cardiology service line. This is a remote opportunity designed for experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality cardiovascular care through telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Identify urgent or emergent cardiac issues during virtual visits and initiate appropriate emergency protocols, including referral to emergency services if necessary.
• Conduct virtual cardiology consultations and manage direct patient care, including evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Review patient histories, medical records, and relevant diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and lab results.
• Interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress testing.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists and coordinate care, as necessary.
• Provide clinical guidance to onsite nursing staff and consult with physicians in emergency and inpatient settings.
• Maintain strong working relationships with hospital-based providers.
• Accurately document consultations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Demonstrate excellent remote communication and virtual bedside manner.
• Submit billing charges within billing software as required.

Minimum Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Cardiology (ABIM or equivalent).
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Cardiology (telehealth experience a plus).
• Ability to work 7 shifts a month including a weekend shift per month.
• Ability to navigate various EMR/EHR systems.
