Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Telematics (iOPS) Intern to work on the iOPS Telematics platform and embedded equipment. This paid internship runs 40 hours per week for 8–10 weeks in an office environment; it is not remote.

Responsibilities include data collection from onboard systems, developing portable data tools, portal testing, data compilation, and dashboard customization, with opportunities to develop simulation activities and contribute to fleet monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field for entire duration of internship.

Responsibilities

  • Portal testing and dashboard customization.
  • Compile data and correlate meaning to events.
  • Develop simulation activities and present them via the iOPS portal.
  • Documentation of processes and fleet monitoring.

SUMMARY

The Telematics (iOPS) Intern will be responsible for projects relating to the iOPS Telematics platform and Oshkosh Aerotech embedded equipment. This position has no drawing or design components. This is a paid internship - 40 hours per week for 8 - 10 weeks in an office environment; this is not a remote position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field for entire duration of internship.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred candidates will have experience in the aviation/ ground support equipment industry Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment

Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
