Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Engineering Project Lead 1 in the United States to drive complex engineering initiatives. You will develop project plans, coordinate between clients and engineering teams, and ensure adherence to design and regulatory requirements.

This role emphasizes proactive risk management, collaboration, and timely delivery. The role requires experience with monitoring/observability tools and incident management, along with strong communication and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, ELK/Kibana, Grafana and OpenSearch.
• Proven ability to manage incidents and on-call processes.
• Solid experience with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration.
• Familiarity with RCAs and post-incident reviews.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between technical teams and clients with regular meetings and milestones.

In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating effective communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Guide the engineering team in following established engineering processes, ensuring all deliverables meet design, technical, and regulatory specifications
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations
• Contribute to the creation of project budgets that aligns with the scope, strategy, and key deliverables
• Identify scope alterations and new client requests, support in effort estimation, obtaining necessary approvals and securing client sign-offs

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
